Letters from the Closet

Ferrante, Tony and Paulette Jacobson. Letters from the Closet. Sacramento: Tzedakah Publications, 1994.

With pull-out post cards and colorful illustrations, Letters from the Closet looks a lot like a children's book, but it's more like a children's book for grown-ups.  This book is a fictional compilation of letters and postcards between two friends as their lives drift apart and then back together again.  I thought this book was beautiful, and I will probably be adding a copy to my own bookshelf at some point.
